‘World of Jenks’ is a verite docu-series that captures award-winning filmmaker Andrew Jenks living with a stranger for eight days as he actively lives a completely different way of life from his own. He will walk the proverbial mile in someone else’s shoes - whether that someone else is a homeless person or a supermodel or anything in between. What is it like to be behind bars at a juvenile detention center? Or to be a police officer in Harlem? As a documentarian, Andrew will explore their lives, interact with their family, hang with their friends and generally see the world from their perspective. He will live with their decisions and question those decisions but, ultimately, live with the consequences. It will not only be the subjects that we see develop as characters but also Andrew. His experiences during each journey continuously change how he perceives and interacts with the subjects and the world around him. Jenks and his crew will keep the cameras rolling every hour, every day. For each journey into the unknown, Jenks, along with his team, will bring us closer to touching and tasting the life of somebody else.
